 WELCOME:
in this section, we will be speaking
directly to women. In Matthew 9:22
we find: "But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her,
he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy
faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made
whole from that hour."
I hope to address what it means to be a godly woman, how to deal
with the stress of motherhood, and hopefully many other areas that
we, as women, deal with everyday; and how God’s word offers
instruction and comfort in our everyday life.
FALSE RELIGIONS
I feel the urgency to share with as many people
as possible the simple truth. So many people today are turning to
contemporary fad religions and beliefs desperately seeking the
peace and assurance we all need. Satan is truly on the prowl to
deceive and destroy souls. He knows his time is short and
everyone, even non-believers, sense that things are unsettled in
the world today. Jesus is coming very soon. Brothers and sisters,
we must lovingly inform people that only God in heaven can give
eternal life - and that Jesus Christ is the only way to
Him. John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth, and the
life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus
Christ paid the price for our sin, yet we see many influential
celebrities seeking after other "gods." Yet the Apostle Paul
warned of these days in Galatians 1:8 But
though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto
you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be
accursed.
Although we may anger non-believers with a
message that they may view as intolerant, we must let them know
that there is a judgment coming - while we ourselves remain
non-judgmental. The Christian message is one of love. It is simply
that we do not wish to see anyone damned to an eternal hell. And
neither does God. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is
not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but
is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish,
but that all should come to repentance.
Parents, teach your children about Jesus. After all, if we love
our children we will certainly want them to have eternal life in
the blissful knowledge of our Lord. Do not set your children up to
fail. Do not model behavior that will lead them to refuse the only
source of completely unconditional love and eternal life. The
answer is not to be found in the latest guru of Oprah Winfrey.
There is only one way. His Name is Jesus Christ, our Lord and
Savior. It is my prayer that all who read this brief article will
repent from any pursuit of false beliefs, turn from sin, and seek
the Lord with all their heart.
