Who is Jesus?

Is Jesus just an ordinary man, or is he, as some people try to teach, an angel, or perhaps is He the visible manifestation of God? First let me say that every question that might be asked can only be answered by what the Bible has to say about it. So with that being true first of all lets look at an Old Testament prophecy concerning His birth. Isaiah 9:7 tells us this, For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  The answer to the question is Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is the second person of the Trinity. He is Almighty God who was manifested in the flesh. John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. In Revelations 1:8 we read what Jesus says about who He is, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

When will Jesus come again?

Only God the Father knows the actual day and hour when the Lord well return. Matt. 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. However we are told that though we may not be able to set a date when the Lord will return we can know that His coming is near. 1 Thessalonians 5:6 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.  In Matthew 24 Jesus gives us signs to watch for when the end is getting near. The signs that He talked about are as never before taking place all around the world. Every major reputable Bible scholar is saying the same thing , Jesus is coming soon, and more than likely He will come before this generation is over.

Are people married in Heaven?

Mark 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.   This one verse answers fully the question and the answer is No we will not be married to one another in heaven. Those who are saved are apart of the bride of Christ and in heaven the bride of Christ is married to Christ. Revelations 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. Revelations 21:9, And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

Is Jesus the only way to Heaven?

Once again the scriptures are clear that there is only one way any person can be saved and go to heaven. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. In Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. These are just three of the verses that tell us that the only way to be saved and go to heaven is Jesus Christ. Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.. If you belonged to every religious group in the world and followed every thing they said about how to be saved, if you died without accepting Jesus Christ as you Lord and Savior you would not go to heaven. Jesus Christ is the only way because only Jesus died as the perfect sinless Son of God to pay for the sins of those who put their faith in Him.

If people never hear about Jesus will they still be lost?

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. These verses reveal that all are sinners and only by being born again can anyone be saved. That’s why God has commanded every believer to be a witness and to share their faith so that all can hear and have a chance to believe the gospel.  Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. If people who never heard about Jesus would be saved then it would be best not to go and preach, but Jesus said go and preach because the only way to be saved is to hear the gospel, believe it and be saved. Romans 10:14-15, How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
